Uhm... should I sell?

The post below explains what happened with the Liberty Dollars.

I do happen to have one Ron Paul silver dollar. I paid $25 for it. Check out what the price is on eBay for these things.

I want an Ipod Touch. Should I sell?

(Note: The sentimental value of this coin is very high.)

Do. Not. Sell.

If you don't desperately need the cash, hold on to that bad boy. You may never get as much for it as you would now, but I don't get the feeling you bought it for a one time profit type of thing.

Silver is what it is. If the dollar absolutely collapes you'll be able to feed yourself for quite awhile with that little hunk of metal. You'll gain back most of your initial investment by next year when silver hits $20. Keep that bad boy in mint condition too, if you are gonna do the collector thing at least wait 50 years.

Or I will buy it! Do you think there are 29 bids on that baby just for fun?

Sell it but give a contribution to the Paul campaign for everything over $150 that you raise. In fact you can put that in your posting. (real conservative)

Maybe if you had a bunch of them, but unless you're really strapped for cash I'd hold on to yours.

If I could contribute to the Paul campaign I would. But I can't, I'm Canadian. So if I were to sell it, I'd have to buy myself something nice...

I'm persuaded not to sell it. The sentimental value is pretty high, and I'd love to have a reminder of the Paul campaign of 2007 many moons in the future...
