End Women's Suffrage

Not so long ago, the suffragettes fought to give women the right to vote.

Some young ladies, however, are no longer interested in their right to vote. Or so it would seem if you watch this video.

Will Albino, a highschool student at Salesianum School visited Padua Academy, an all-girls Catholic school, and requested that they sign a petition calling for an end to women's suffrage. Dozens of students from Padua, recognized as a "National School of Excellence" by the U.S. Department of Education, gleefully took up a pen to sign the petition.

You can read an article about the video here.

This says more about young teenage girls' ignorance than it does about their desire to see an end to sufferage, or put in terms they can understand, the right for women to vote... come on now. (To be fair, suffrage *sounds* like a bad thing... "sufferage". But someone at that school, probably those male teachers, should have provided a better history lesson.) ;)

I went to that school, and today I am ashamed to call it my alma mater. Ignorance is the word for it. Stupid little rich girls that just want to be on TV and flirt with the boys who are in fact making them look like fools. Typical.

The Man Show, while it was still on, did this about 5 years ago. They went around getting women in LA to sign the petition to end women's suffrage. Always funny.
